Hey all!! So although this may be a post on How to Prevent Stretch Marks During Pregnancy please keep in mind the following:
- I am not a doctor or skincare specialist
- This is what worked for me, it may not work for you
- I still have 9 weeks of baby growing to do, so some marks could still pop up.
- If you do get stretch marks, IT’S OKAY!!!! you are having a baby and while I totally understand that marks can put a damper on your day, you have done something amazing by bringing a little bundle of joy into the world and those marks are well…..marks of honor 🙂
Whew! Now that we have gotten that out of the way Ill tell you everything I have been doing to keep my tummy smooth and mark free 🙂 – And yes im hiding my belly button because its completely flat and weird lol.
So that’s it!! Those are my tips and what has worked for me. If you still get marks keep up this routine after pregnancy along with wrapping your belly to help get rid of them. You want to work on the marks while they are still red/purple. I do not know the full science behind it all but with my first two pregnancies I attacked my marks early and they faded very quickly!!
